This is a 1/4″ flare nut. Each line set requires 2 flare nuts – one for each end. Typically, your unit will already have one attached. We have packaged ten 1/4″ brass S.A.E. flare fittings together.

Brass flare nuts can be used across many industries where soldering is not a possibility. They provide a strong connection and are used with liquid and gas distribution passing through piping including line sets used with mini splits and air conditioner units. These flare nuts are constructed of brass for the safe use with natural gas and are assembled with short forged nuts.
